Holly Farm Nurseries, established 28 years ago from a small dairy farm, is a thriving retail nursery alongside the A49, 1 mile north of Prees and 4 miles south of Whitchurch.
A traditional Nursery growing a major proportion of the plants it sells. The wide variety of plants sold include most of the plants found in large Garden Centres but also many unusual varieties not seen at the bigger centres.











The staff, Matt, Carol, Liz, Sue, George and Ashleigh have built up a reputation for being helpfull welcoming and friendly. Because they grow many of the plants they sell they are able to offer advice to customers on the suitability of individual plants for their garden. They can also help customers with a wide range of gardening problems.
Holly Farm Nuseries was established by its current owners Tim and Helen on returning from work in Ethiopia. They were in Ethiopia, from 1975 to 1978, during the overthrow of Emperor Haile Sellase by the Dergue, working on the country's largest suger estate. In its infancy Holly Farm Nurseries was more a market garden than a plant centre, growing and selling a wide variety of Vegatables and fruit.
